Rapper Kanye West is at it again. The rapper is making a major statement.
Ye’ put together a surprise fashion show of his own on Monday in Paris, putting his Season 9 collection on display.
The rapper gave a speech before the models took to the stage, he was wearing a “White Lives Matter” T-shirt with the Pope’s face on the front and also wore the same bedazzled flip-flops he was seen wearing on last week.

West made a reference about his former manager Scooter Braun, the struggles he faced as he entered the fashion industry, his recent drama with Gap, as well as making reference to his ex-wife Kim Kardashian’s 2016 Paris robbery, and much more.
“I am Ye, and everyone here knows that I am the leader,” the emcee declared at one moment, “You can’t manage me.”
Before the fashion show, Kanye made jokes about some of the famous models expected to make appearances: Kardashian, 41, ex-girlfriend Irina Shayk and current flame Candice Swanepoel as well as other big names like Beyoncé, Rihanna, Angelina Jolie, Lauryn Hill, Naomi Campbell, Emily Ratajkowski, Gisele Bündchen, Bella Hadid and Amelia Gray Hamlin.
Although, it seems only Shayk, Campbell and Hamlin made an actual appearances, with the Russian model looking while the other two walked the runway.
Some of the Ye’s models in the fashion show wore the same shirt with “White Lives Matter” on the back as well while fans and followers on social media reacted.
“Sending a “WHITE LIVES MATTER” t-shirt down a runway in Paris is literal insanity and no amount of gospel is getting that man through Heaven’s gate, I’m so sorry,” one onlooker tweeted. Another captioned, “mind you kanye was just calling kim and kris the kkk 2 weeks ago and now he’s wearing a white lives matter shirt.”
Others are remembering his trip to the White House wearing a “MAGA” hat. Prior to this event, in 2013 Ye also caused controversy as he wore a jacket with the Confederate flag on it.

“There’s just people. From the same planet. And sometimes, in high school, it feels like we don’t fit in. And in a situation like this, we have the opportunity to come together to express who we are,” Ye mentioned to Vogue about his vision for the runway ahead of the show.
“It’s leaning into the shape of how I see this future world … this alternate world. But in high school. It’s focused on curriculum because both my parents are educators.”
Recently the rapper has been attending fashion shows in London and Paris over the past week, even made a runway appearance as a model, opening the Balenciaga fashion show on this past Sunday. Ex-sister inlaws Khloé Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and his daughter North West sat in the front row for the superstar’s walk through the muddy runway.
Prior to this year’s event, Yeezy fashion shows have suffered by disaster, which a time before he made guests wait for hours in the hot sun, as well as fainting models. Although, this is the first time Ye took his designs to the Paris Fashion Week.
