We’re not sure why 21 Savage did not perform. Concertgoers are speculating on Twitter claiming he may have arrived late and was not permitted to get on stage. According to other ticket holders, Ski Mask The Slump God and Big Sean were also excluded from performing.

Media Music News has reached out to representatives for Rolling Loud and 21 Savage for comment.

This year’s Rolling Loud New York festival had some very interesting moments. Artist Ice Spice received negative reviews for her performance. She performed alongside rapper Fivio Foreign’s set and performed hit single “Munch (Feelin’ U)” before twerking in the middle of the song. Nicki Minaj almost got her wig ripped off her head by fan. A$AP Rocky had a tough time recouping after diving off the stage into the crowd which he got stuck in the mosh pit.  The rapper’s set was also cut short, with the A$AP Mob member later apologizing to fans.

“I am so hurt right now! Last night was supposed to be a turning point in my live shows from the old to new!” Rocky wrote in a statement on Twitter. “I will take full responsibility for the circumstances of what led to last nights show being everything it was and everything it wasn’t.”

“I also want to acknowledge that even tho I prepared the best show for my fans, detail for detail, over the course of MONTHS…,” he continued. “I was unfortunately not able to bring my vision to fruition and Im hurt about that and I want to apologize to all of my fans and continued supporters, and thank y’all for showing up for me regardless!!”

The Rolling Loud festival’s next stop is scheduled to take place next year in California.
