There is a variation of reports online, however, it was said that the winning bidder paid between $45,000 and $50,000 for the prize.

The Grammy Awards winning singer has not officially announce or commented on the actual tour. Beyoncé’s album “Renaissance” was released in July 2022, however details relating to the project have remained a secret.

Beyoncé, Jay-Z, and their daughter Blue Ivy were in attendance at the inaugural event in Santa Monica, hosted by the singer’s mom and stepfather, who are the founders and co-artistic directors, Tina Knowles-Lawson and Richard Lawson. Also in attendance were various actors and musicians such as honoree Angela Bassett, Lupita Nyong’o, Kelly Rowland, Quinta Brunson and Michelle Williams and the ceremony was sponsored by Amazon Music and Shea Moisture.

The gala was created by the Lawsons in 2017 and served as a fundraiser to support WACO’s artistic and mentorship programs and also highlighting the organization’s shared mission for diversity and inclusion. The event was hosted by Keke Palmer and featured a special performance by Andra Day as well as a musical tribute by Chloe and Halle Bailey.
